Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?
I grew up in Cape Town , South Africa. I lived in Cape Town since the age of 9. I decided to become an artist because I was always drawn to music and it was and still is the easiest way to express myself.
Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?
My name is Ndumiso, I went through a series of names before I decided to keep it simple and went with Miso.
Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?
I think it’s a great platform if your music is seen by people who are willing to give new sound a listen. Yes I have and continue to do so as it’s the easiest way to get exposure since fans are reluctant to pay.
Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?
Unfortunately I cannot I am still at a point where I’m looking for tips myself.
Exposed Vocals: Do you ever make mistakes during performances? How do you handle that?
Yes sometimes the trick is to make it look planned.
Exposed Vocals: Do you tour? Anything interesting happen on tour that you think our readers would enjoy hearing about?
No , I have not toured yet.
Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process?
I gather inspiration from life situations and my process is to write line by line to get the flow.

My music list is not embarrassing, I delete/remove any unplayable music
Exposed Vocals: If you were given half a million dollars and a year off, what would you do? How would you spend it?
Start my own recording label and have someone be acting CEO for the year
Exposed Vocals: Any planned studio upgrades? What are you working with now?
I currently don’t have my own studio and am working towards getting one. I am recording by various producers at the moment
Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?
I use social media mostly to try and get my music heard.
Exposed Vocals: If you could perform anywhere and with any artists (Dead or Alive) where and who would it be with? Why?
Madison Square Garden with J.Cole , 2 Pac , Eminem and Run DMC.
Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?
I have a new song dropping soon titled Searching For You , I feel it can be a massive track if marketed properly.

I am currently doing a 6 month course on Financial Management.
Exposed Vocals: Do you remember buying your first album? Who was it? What was going through your head?
It was Usher , I was young and wanted to Let It Burn , sorry for the pun.
Exposed Vocals: How do you juggle the rest of your responsibilities while trying to stay ahead in your music life?
Well as long as you make one positive move with regards to your music you are on the right path so I try not to rush myself and do everything else that I still have to do.
Exposed Vocals: What should fans look forward to in 2016?
More conscious music from myself and me working with a lot of different types of artists.
