Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?
Gp: I’m from Brookhaven, Mississippi. I have always loved music; It was amazing to me how artists were able to capture the feelings of people whom they have never met. I started making music with some friends an we became How Fly Entertainment and that is when I started to get in to audio engineering and beat making as well as writing.
Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?
Gp: Gp stood for many thing but now it is simply Gp.
Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?
Gp: I think online music sharing is a double edge sword. It is a great way to hear music you might not normally hear but there is a lot of money being lost. I give away a lot of my music for free because I’m my own boss. I don’t have a Label that I have to listen to so I just put out good music. To many artist are focusing on getting paid that their music suffers. I’m If good at what I do the money will come.
Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?
Gp: First Stay true to yourself, never change up. Second don’t be a puppet, take control of your career. Do your research make some connections and it will all pay off
Exposed Vocals: Do you ever make mistakes during performances? How do you handle that?
Gp: No one is perfect. If you make a mistake while performing just finish strong.

Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process?
Gp: When I write I can’t listen to any songs that are on the radio. I want to be as original as possible. Sometime when we find a song or artist we like, we tend to duplicate their sound. So to keep that from happening, I don’t listen to anything.
Exposed Vocals: Do you have a band website? What online platforms do you use to share your music?
Gp: Yes. I have a Beat Star Page, FaceBook, Twitter, and Youtube. Just Search for G92 Productions.
Exposed Vocals: What are some really embarrassing songs that we might find on your mp3 player?
Gp: I wouldn’t call them embarrassing because I listen to all kinds of music. But the one that catches everyone by surprise is the “We are Men” parody by Team Four Star.
Exposed Vocals: If you were given half a million dollars and a year off, what would you do? How would you spend it?
Gp: I would put a lot of it into my studio and save the rest. I might travel some but I’m not sure.

Gp: I’m working with Pro Tools and Logic now. I’m always upgrading whenever I can
Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?
Gp: I find that working with other artist is the best way to promote my music. I can tell you all day that my music is hot but it’s not until someone else tells you my music is hot that will make you want to listen.
Exposed Vocals: If you could perform anywhere and with any artists (Dead or Alive) where and who would it be with? Why?
Gp: I want to work with so many artist, Tupac, Eminem, 50 Cent, to Adele, Amy Winehouse, and so many more.
