Listen to ‘Gotta Ask’ by RobJay
Music Review:
We all know that some of the most popular and influential rap of the entire genre comes from the dirty south. The story is no different for RobJay with his break out single ‘Gotta Ask’ so move over Geto Boys – and let me introduce to you this hot new artist hailing from New Orleans and now tearing up the mics in Houston. He’s bringing that down south Hip Hop car culture to the curb with lyrics like:
“Put 24’s on a whip / then park the bitch on the curb”
You see, while California and the West Cost enjoys its classics low to the ground, things are a little bit different in New Orleans, Memphis or Miami, the Dirty South… There, instead of slamming cars to the ground, they raise them up into the air and the appeal is obvious.
So whether we’re talking about girls with a thin waist and fat ass or donks with 24’s , RobJay is sure to ring bells all along the south with this hit single with smashing radio potential. If you haven’ty heard it yet, be sure to check it out! Also, check out our exclusive interview below with RobJay.
