Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?
I grew up in Montreal, Canada and then moved to Laval, a smaller city next to Montreal. I always had a huge interest towards music, but I started making music once I stopped playing basketball and dropped out of school.
Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?
Build a team first, I once wanted to do everything by myself and then I realized it is nearly impossible. And then you need to spend your time wisely, when it’s time to make music make music and when it’s time to promote it promote it. But the biggest part is building a team with people you trust.
Exposed Vocals: Do you ever make mistakes during performances? How do you handle that?
Yes, I think we all make mistakes from time to time. The way you handle it depends on what the mistake was mostly and when it happened. I once forgot lyrics at the beginning of a song and stopped everything and asked if the crowd was still in this lmao. But you can’t really do this in the middle of a song. It all depends but usually I get out of it without people noticing what happened
Exposed Vocals: Do you tour? Anything interesting happen on tour that you think our readers would enjoy hearing about?
Didn’t tour yet, will do soon and we will talk about it then.
Exposed Vocals: Any planned studio upgrades? What are you working with now?
The WeWill studio is always upgrading, we are right now working with a Telefunken mic and a Great River preamp, working mostly on FL Studio.
Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?
Talking about it is what works the best for me, people talk about your music to their friends and so on. Or else contacting blogs, radio stations and facebook pages works as well.
Exposed Vocals: If you could perform anywhere and with any artists (Dead or Alive) where and who would it be with? Why?
Dang that’s a hard one. I might tell you something different each day. The rapper and Hip Hop side of myself might say Kendrick, because of his concepts in his performances. But the general music artist part of myself might say Michael Jackson.
Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?
Well, we, as a crew, have nearly 10 projects in the making. Mario Mcfly’s mixtape and album, SAGA has a couple projects coming as well, SWAT has a mixtape in the making, Sirius-T has one as well, I have a collaboration project with Mindz, Arianne has a project, we have the Stxrmwatch project of course. On my end I just released my album and I am making music as it flows, not rushing anything, will see how it goes.
Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?
I don’t know haha. I would probably be doing bad things to be honest with you. Or else, if my health would allow me to, I would be playing basketball.
Exposed Vocals: What should fans look forward to in the next year or so?
Major changes, planning on moving, working with other artists a lot and releasing A LOT of music.
Exposed Vocals: Any Shout-outs?
Always haha. S/O to the entire WeWill Family; Sxtrmwatch, Mario McFly, SAGA, SWAT, Sirius-T, Larry, Mindz, Arianne, Franco Dinero, HelloTaxi?!, L’Kid, Paranoize, Drixxy Phelps and so on. The real ones know I got them
