Exclusive Interview and Music Review with Chris Chris Who
“One Oklahoma Rapper You Should Know About…”
Music Review for ‘Nothin Different’
Regarding the sound in Tulsa,Oklahoma – the rap scene is pretty diverse, actually. A lot of the earlier Hip Hop artists that came up out of Oklahoma had that West Coast/Midwest sound. Then in recent years it has more of that Dallas sound to it. It’s kinda like a melting pot, cause you get so many different people from so many different areas. But, one artist does stand out and is starting to make a name for himself – Chris Chris Who. (You will see why they call him that in our exclusive interview below)
Chris Chris Who, raised in a poverty along with nearly 40 percent of children in the United States that lived in low-income families — families with incomes at or below 200 percent of the federal poverty level, turned to selling drugs as a way out… as these youth often lack the resources and opportunities found to lead to better outcomes.
Chris Chris Who’s Track – Nothing Different is the ultimate club banger with that southern Ludacris feel and sure to turn up the heat.
“You Can’t Tell Me Nothing Different / People Mad / People Tripp’n…”
One of the most important aspects of writing a rap song-creating that catchy hook that never leaves people’s minds. Well, this is it! Listen to ‘Nothin Different’ below and stay tuned as I’m sure we’re going to hear more fire from this unsigned artists out of Tulsa.

Exclusive Interview:
Exposed Vocals: How did you hear about Exposed Vocals? What made you decide to sign up?
Chris Chris: Well, I had received a request in my inbox via twitter.com.
Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?
Chris Chris: I was born in Tulsa,Oklahoma. I am the fifth child of six. I come from a musical family.I was raised into some of the worst sides of poverty. I grew up on the north side of Tulsa,Oklahoma in the Suburban Acres area. One of the most poverty-stricken parts of Tulsa. Just like the most everyone else raised in a poor family in a poor side of town. I wanted nicer things. Not just because I didn’t have nicer things but just due to the fact that when I was growing up as a kid, other kids made it a thing to point out your disadvantages and flaws. I saw my disadvantages as not having the nicest clothes or the nicest shoes. With being under this pressure I began to grow a hunger for money. I used to see the local pimps and dealers in my neighborhood and I began to Idolize them.Hell, I idolized some of my family members because they themselves were dealers. I began to be so determined to achieve some type of revenue that I thought my way out was selling drugs and music. This was at age 12. So I started with learning how to cook my first bag of powder cocaine into crack cocaine. I was fronted a supply by one of my family members in which was 28 grams. I also began freestyling and recording cassette tapes. We didn’t have instrumentals available like they are now days, so I literally recorded to my cousin beat boxing. I wrote my first actual song at age 14. Three sixteen bars verses and the hooks to go with it. Without really having any means to support my music projects, I resulted back to selling drugs. I became my own producer at age 18. I started off using FL Studio. This lasted for a few years until I noticed that it was too time consuming to produce the track then freestyle or write the lyrics to it and the try to market my product after all of the administration work. So then I decided to only be the artist.
Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?
Chris Chris: I came up with the name “Chris Chris” because I was born to a family of a lot of people named Chris. there was big Chris, a little Chris, and I was known as Chris Chris. I came up with ChrisChrisWho after shopping my self to labels and other music investors and when I told them who I were, they replied with Chris Chris who? So I took on the name “ChrisChrisWho”.
