Daria Tara – Golden Dream
Daria Tara explores a dreamy eyed mixture of EDM with pop on the beautiful “Golden Dream”. Everything about it has a delicate balance behind it, from the elongated guitar work that introduces it to the warm, soothing beats that eventually come to underpin the groove. Her voice thought remains a commanding presence for she makes sure that every verse counts. Words are chosen with such care further heightening the sense of surreal imagery that adorns much of the piece. Layer upon layer intermingles into the fray further adding to the spirit of the piece. Full of kindness the spaciousness of the work makes it have a warm emerge.
Upon her voice entering into the fray the rest of the track gradually falls into place. Done with such compassion, the song gains a force of nature quality to it. The grooves have a slow-moving build about them making sure every flourish matters. Elements of ambient and drone further add to the geometric approach of the piece, for it is easy to see everything entering in the best way possible. Within the take she makes sure that it all retains a sense of passion that has a perfection to it. For the final stretch she unleashes a true force of nature, as every single element rushes to the forefront for one well earned crescendo that crashes upon everything.
