New name on the music scene, Click22……………..talented up and coming duo who write and perform their own original material, always progressing with new ideas and material. With CJ’s vocals likened to the soulful, smooth vocals of R. Kelly, and Prospekt’s rhymes adding the punch, their distinctive modern beats create a fresh, Click22 sound.

Owen “Prospekt” Davies and Ceejay Morrison, both excellent song writers and performers, working with producers at InDemand Music (http://indemandmusic.com/music/the-team/) Click22 not only write for themselves, having signed a publishing contract, they are now writing for established artists all over the world as part of 23rd Precinct, Nottinghill Music Group and currently have 4 tracks on hold by in Japan.

Music Review for ‘Get To Know”

In 2001 the Guinness Book of Records declared Liverpool ‘City of Pop’ due to the many number one records to have emerged from the city. Non-negotiable for Liverpool music fans is a must peep at this up-and-coming talent that is starting to ring bells “over the pond” in the U.S with this hit new single ‘Get To Know”

This sparse yet high energy beat is the perfect compliment to the click’s vocal attitude on the song. The song’s high energy, yet sparse drum beat is simplistic, but perfectly utilized. The production goes against the grain of modern R&B songs in the that the accompanying music is used to complement the singer’s voice, rather than supplant or take precedence over it.

…self confidence is the most attractive quality a person can have and it’s lyrics like this that is sure to attract the ladies…

Overall, this is an excellent piece of songwriting. which is perhaps the most important aspect an artist needs in forging a lasting career. With a likeable easy-on-the-ear voice, and a commercial sound perfect for radio, I can imagine Click22, and this song, going on to eventually become very popular.
