BREEZE by MDNGHT
Upon first reading the name MDNGHT, I automatically processed ‘Midnight Breeze’. What I saw was in actual MDNGHT, short for MIDNIGHT; an outstanding singing group that impressed me at the amount of professionalism in their performance and the amount of positive energy that I received from watching and listening to the track.
Coming from Manchester, London in the United Kingdom. A harmony and display of talent in a group as a whole. The featured single ‘Breeze’ under the record label MUK RECORDS, receives great reviews and has hit the charts at number 3 in the Music Week Charts Club. Moreover the single was playlisted at Manchester United in the UK where it was played to a crowed of over 75000 fans and listeners during a game. The single can be classified as alternative -rock electronical dance music with indie alternative.
Furthermore, their single has been played on BBC Radio 1. Also, to even strengthen their brand and become further involed in the business aspect of the industry. MDNGHT has organized and teamed up with 304# Clothing to produce T-shirt for a competition this past September, in which contestants submited their comments as to which song from MDNGHT was their favourite MDNGHT song… the prize… limited edition MDNGHT ‘Breeze’ T-shirts.
May I add that this is a strictly amazing design by the way! In August 2014, it was the Main Stage at The Feel Good Festival and later that month at the Manchester Pride In early September 2014 MDNGHT opened the main stage Shrewsbury Fields Forever annual Music, Comedy and Arts festival.
The single Breeze is available on itunes and likewise, there is a B side the ‘Tontario & Saxokid remix,’ from the US based website entittled Goodmusicallday contains a wicked saxophone drop as an extra bonus. Moreover, its an impressive House ReMix . even a North 2 South remix that is just as striking as its sisters. An exquisite vocal lead with distinctive qualities, A herculean display of two Electric guitars with outstanding back up vocals, finally an exceedingly potent display and use of an ‘Octopad Drum Machine’ equals a wonderous performance.
What more can you ask for in excellent entertainment! No wonder the single has hit the charts. The intro is suprisingly enough subtle and smooth, the lead vocals are performed superbly are comforting just as the lyrics suggest, as a breeze. A cool breeze. ” the thing is we dont care, lay your heads down anywhere, as long as the weathers fair, nothing really matters, we just go where the breeze goes…’ I am especially impressed by the lead vocalist. There is a melodic tone quality that periodically reaches falceto, a feat even I struggle to muster.
Overall, MDNGHT and their single Breeze have an amazing sound that is uncomparable and is unique to its own brand. The song called for several playbacks as it was enjoyed very much and had an indepth meaning that could captivate listeners immediately. I am honored to have been able to receive an opportunity to review this single. Look for more great musical performances and more great music from MDNGHT I know I will.
