“the flow is on point” Blue Martinez with ‘Lamborghini’ (Produced By Andre On The Beat)
“the focus is on the voice and the lyrics, and the flow is on point”
The delightful good vibes created by the stylish Blue Martinez. It’s a brilliant juxtaposition, and alongside this there are some real moments of character and uniqueness to this whole track. The vocal is skillful, gentle, confident, controlled, and the rap has a similar personality to it but with (obviously) a much quicker pace, more lyrics fired out, much more confidence and even a little angst and attitude. It sounds great, the voice is compelling, it’s dramatic and clearly presented by someone who is strongly behind their own lyrics and well into the music. The passion is there, as is the musicality, the ups and downs, the hook. It’s a great song, nice vibes, and unusual enough to stick in your mind.
“It’s times like this, I hear the game callin’ / I’m callin’ back / I can’t ignore it”
There’s a whole lot that is fresh here, a brand new sound, really exciting and really something to make you want to watch out for future releases.. A brand new artist with some really captivating sounds and ideas. The creative ambiance of this track is quite powerful, it draws you in from the start, and it gives off the impression of something quite dark and serious to follow. The vocal performance that fills out the recording later on has a familiar sound to it. The style and tone of the voices featured throughout fit well within the mix and the overall vibe of the track.
The focus is on the voice and the lyrics, and the flow is on point. Some of the lyrics are interesting, there’s no singular line that particularly stands out, but as you listen to the hooks repeated terms, it does come across as unique and extraordinary in some ways. The riff that repeats throughout is probably the thing that gives the song most of its personality. The voices do as well, to a great extent, and the way these have been mixed in is massively stylish and appealing, but the riff is what you take away from it after listening. Tracks like this need a riff that haunts you and stays in your mind in order to make their mark.
This up and coming Artist has a lot to bring to the table! Look out for more releases from him in the future.
