Emigsville, PA — February 22nd, 2022 – Bringing with him years of musical experience, ALMOST HOWE represents one man’s dream becoming a reality. Few artists are able to independently spearhead a band with their multifarious talents and gifts, yet Billy Jones is one such phenomenon.
With a rich discography that includes diverse CDs and covered tunes, ALMOST HOWE features a one-man band with a full band sound. Created by playing and recording every background instrumental and vocal himself, Billy Jones’ project breathes life back into the classics of the past and present.
Covering Rock hits from the 60s to the present day, ALMOST HOWE is the culmination of Billy Jones’ 58 years of experience on stage. With work in full swing on the band’s CD#5 “Soundscapes”, the artist is hopeful to create a meaningful impact with his imprint.
ALMOST HOWE channels a formidable range of Rock styles and elements. The single “DECEIVED” encompasses a hard charging Rock ‘n Roll release that uses up-tempo ballad and a slow blues track. Meanwhile, “NO ALIBIS” presents a sentimental, thought-provoking collection of ballads, and the track “TRAIL OF TEARS” underscores a powerful progressive rock collection with political overtones. “THE OTHER SIDE” is dedicated to his three best friend musicians who passed way too soon. It contains soulful ballads and intensive progressive rock songs.
The first three of ALMOST HOWE’s CDs are currently available on over 95 digital distribution sites around the world, including “CD Baby” & “Amazon”. His live shows feature full backing vocals, instrumentation and videos for all cover songs and originals that Jones has played and recorded.
“Each song has a video I produced that includes live clips and pictures. My music is straight from the heart but has never had the financial backing to be heard by industry professionals and general audiences,” says the artist regarding his music.
All four albums of the artist were mastered by renowned engineer & producer, Gene Paul – winner of 9 Grammy’s, including a Grammy for Roberta Flack’s “Killing Me Softly”.
