Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?

Anna Freed: I’m a 23 year old girl who grew up in a small place called Rainham in Kent , ever since I was a little girl I have always wanted to be a singer , people used to ask me Anna what do you want to be when your older?, and I would say I want to be a pop star just like the spice girls or Steps . When I was little I would always put on little talent  shows for my family.

Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?

Anna:  I just used my own name ,

Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?

Anna: I think online music sharing is great , I think its a great way to get your music out there  , yes I do give my music away for free.

Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?

Anna: My tips for you is to believe in your self you can do it , work hard and keep practicing , and always follow your dreams.

Exposed Vocals: Do you ever make mistakes during performances? How do you handle that?

Anna. Haha all the time . I tend to laugh it off and carry on

Exposed Vocals: Do you tour? Anything interesting happen on tour that you think our readers would enjoy hearing about?

Anna: I don’t currently tour,But that is deffently something i want to add to my list of things to do , i think it would be amazing to be on tour , and performing infront of fans

Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process?

Anna:  , I write a lot of my music based on things that have happened in my life ,

Exposed Vocals: What are some really embarrassing songs that we might find on your mp3 player?

Anna: Oh no do i have to , Spice Girls , Fast food rockers , S Club 7

Exposed Vocals: If you were given half a million dollars and a year off, what would you do? How would you spend it?

Anna: First I would give my family some money  , i would treat my mum as she has done so much for me since i was little she is my world . I would buy some new outfits and make-up and defo go on holiday to the Maldives

Exposed Vocals: Any planned studio upgrades? What are you working with now?

Anna: Ive just been to the studio to record a cover of Ariana Grande’s song Into you , I had a great day at there studio lots of fun , I am currently working on a orginall song , which i hope to record sometime soon.

Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?

Anna: At the moment I am promoting my music on my website , on reverbnation and through facebook . I feel reverbnation does a lot its a great place for artist to share there music.

Exposed Vocals: If you could perform anywhere and with any artists (Dead or Alive) where and who would it be with? Why?

Anna: I would love to perform at the 02 London with Demi Lovato she is such an amazing singer , all my friends and family know I am Demi’s biggest fan , I love her voice  its so strong and powerfull and she is so confident , to sing with her on stage would be a dream come true.   If she was still here today i would love to also sing with the very talented Whitney , it would be amazing to perform with such a legend.

Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?

Anna: I am currently working on my original song , as much as i want to i cant say yet what it is about  you will just have to wait and see.

Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?

Anna: If I wasn’t singing i would love to be an actress ,  its something else i have always wanted to do from a young age , i would love to be in a Doctor Who Episode or even EastEnders that would be amazing!

Exposed Vocals: Do you remember buying your first album? Who was it? What was going through your head?

Anna:  Yes i remember buying my first album rushing to get to hmv to buy the Spice Girls , at the time it was the best thing ever i was so happy

Exposed Vocals: How do you juggle the rest of your responsibilities while trying to stay ahead in your music life?

Anna:  At times it can be hard but most of the time its all good ,  just got to remind yourself everyday to stay strong and you can do it , always follow your dreams.

Exposed Vocals: What should fans look forward to in the next year or so?

Anna . My fans can look forward to a lot lot more music x
