Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?
Lil Mac: My Hometown is Blytheville Arkansas. Which is nick named: The ville or Thugtown. What made me want to become an artist? Well when I was younger I would hang out with my older brothers and their friends. Their passion was creating their own music. So later on when I turned ten years old, my cousin influenced me to produce a song with him, I wasn’t really  into it. But he kept bugging me about it and I asked myself, why not? So here I am today , looking forward to becoming an artist.###
How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?
Lil Mac: I came up with the name Lil when I used to listen to Lil Wayne, but my grandma always call me Macdaddy so I just took Lil Wayne first name Lil and put it with Mac. That’s basically how I came up with the name and why it inspire me to keep the name.###
What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?
Lil Mac: I think online music sharing is good because it help build up your fans and get you noticed. I give my music away for free all the time so people can listen to it and get others to listen.
Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?
Lil Mac: If you looking to get gigs or airplay, the only thing it take is hard work, but for some people its the people you may know in the music industry.
Do you ever make mistakes during performances? How do you handle thout.
Lil Mac: I always find myself at home when I’m on stage. Everybody cheering me on having a great time, Â so I don’t seem to make a mistake when I’m performing because I just go with the flow and vibe out.###
Do you tour? Anything interesting happen on tour that you think our readers would enjoy hearing about?
Lil Mac: I haven’t been on my first tour yet.
Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process?
Lil Mac: I usually come up with my music anywhere by talking bout what I did/go through. First I’ll put on a beat and freestyle the chours and my verses too sometimes. Then I’ll start writing my verses until I get stuck on what to write next but when that happen I’ll start to do some similar to what I’m talking about so I can finish writing. Once I’m done recording everything that’s when I’ll start mix and mastering all the vocals.
Do you have a band website? What online platforms do you use to share your music?
Lil Mac: I don’t have a website I just put my music on YouTube and soundcloud. I promote my music by using Facebook and twitter.
What are some really embarrassing songs that we might find on your mp3 player?
Lil Mac: An embarrassing song u might find on my mp3 player is, All My Life because the sound of my mixing from back than.
If you were given half a million dollars and a year off, what would you do? How would you spend it?
Lil Mac: What woukd I do if I was giving a half a million dollars and a year off? Nothing.
Any planned studio upgrades? What are you working with now?
Lil Mac: Yeah I plan on upgrading to a professional studio by getting my own building, but right now I’m working with pro tools 10 at my house tryna get pro tools 12
How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?
Lil Mac: like I said in one of the questions earlier I promote my music by using Facebook and Twitter.
If you could perform anywhere and with any artists (Dead or Alive) where and who would it be with? Why?
Lil Mac: I would perform with famous dex somewhere big just because he know how to get the crowd attention.
So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?
Lil Mac: I’m working on new album called, “Left For Dead” I don’t know when its gone drop so just be looking out for it.
If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?
Lil Mac: If I wasn’t making music I don’t know what I’d be doing.

Lil Mac: I never bought an abbum
How do you juggle the rest of your responsibilities while trying to stay ahead in your music life?
Lil Mac: I handle business first then go to work with the music to stay on top

Lil Mac: The fans should be looking forward to seeing me perform live in they city.
