Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist? Â
 I grew up in Memphis , I’m currently in Chicago, and when I was younger I use to look up to Soulja Boy , and j liked the way his music made people turn up. So I thought to myself I could do this too.
Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?
 I came up with the name Manny Bandz because I chose to make my name a goal, Manny Bandz actually stands for “Many Bandz” which means a lot of money.
Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?
I think online music sharing is great , its a good way to get notices, and yes I always give my music away for free , because I’m not really an artist that’s making money off music ,so I don’t see a need to sell .
Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?
I would say get to know as many people as u can , networking is the way to go. Try to work with different people , and u learn thing along the way.
Exposed Vocals: Do you ever make mistakes during performances? How do you handle that?
 Yes , I just keep the show going because were only human , and it makes the show look more original any way.
Exposed Vocals: Do you tour? Anything interesting happen on tour that you think our readers would enjoy hearing about?Â
I never been on tour yet.
Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process? Â
I start off with the hook because I feel like that’s the heart of the song , then I add the verses later .
Exposed Vocals: Do you have a band website? What online platforms do you use to share your music?
 I use Twitter , Facebook , sound cloud and instagram to promote my music.
Exposed Vocals: What are some really embarrassing songs that we might find on your mp3 player?
 This one song by Ugly God called I beat my meat . hahaha
Exposed Vocals: If you were given half a million dollars and a year off, what would you do? How would you spend it? Â
I would use half of that money to invest in something that would make me more money.
Exposed Vocals: Any planned studio upgrades? What are you working with now? Â
 I actually attend different studios I’m still looking for the right producer, I also have a little studio set up in my room.
Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?
 I often use Facebook because I have alot of fans there than anywhere.
Exposed Vocals: If you could perform anywhere and with any artists (Dead or Alive) where and who would it be with? Why?Â
I would like to perform at the Big Jam At the united center in Chicago with Soulja boy.
Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?
My First Mix tape ever , I’m going to call it ” Memphis To Chiraq” and it tells a story about how the difference was from the two cities.
Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing? Â
 I wouldn’t even know what to do with my life to be real. But most likely playing basketball.
Exposed Vocals: Do you remember buying your first album? Who was it? What was going through your head? Â
 I actually never really payed attention to music artist, because I want to be my own person. So I was never up to date with music.
Exposed Vocals: How do you juggle the rest of your responsibilities while trying to stay ahead in your music life? Â
 Its hard , I slacked off on school because this music and I still haven’t made a mark , make s me want to give up sometimes but I came to far to quit.
