Finessn born (september 26 1996 Montreal , canada ) is a Toronto hip – hop artist in the music group Double S Muzik also known as YFG , growing up in the neighbourhood SSW also known as SouthSide Weston Road. His Inspiration came from old school hip hop and one of his best friends passing away,

JBandz born ( September 12 , 1996 ) is a hip – hop artist from toronto in the music group Double S Muzik also known as YFG , growing up in SouthSide Weston Road. His inspiration comes from his family and trying to do better for the ones that are alive.
Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist? Â
Finessn: I moved to Weston Road when I was 4 years old with my mom.
People use to pick on me in elementary school so i had most of my friends where i grew up , one day we were in the park and a shooting happened my friend passed away. Every since then lifes bin hard but music always played apart in calming me down. Eventually started freestyling with my friends and we decided we should take it seriously.

Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?

Finessn: idk one day my friends just came up with it and it kindda just stuck.
Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?
Finessn: i think its really good because not everyone can afford to buy music and its more about getting the fans to listen to you and share your stuff at first. Yeah of course , I think everyone should be able to listen to my music if they want.

Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?
Finessn: yeah theres alot outhere. Robin banks , H loc , Pressa and alot more my citys full of artist.Â

Exposed Vocals: Do you ever make mistakes during performances? How do you handle that?

Finessn: not really, made one but my friend spit it covered it for me.

Exposed Vocals: Do you tour? Anything interesting happen on tour that you think our readers would enjoy hearing about?Â
Finessn: not touring right now but hopefully soon.

Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process? Â
Finessn: usually ill hang out with my friends start flowing some stuff listen to some instrumentals , talk to some beat makers. But sometimes we just hangout for abit and let it flow.
Exposed Vocals: Do you have a band website? What online platforms do you use to share your music?

Finessn: right now we use soundcloud and youtube to get are stuff out.
Exposed Vocals: What are some really embarrassing songs that we might find on your mp3 player?

Finessn: man i was younger making some stupid songs! Theres this song hoover that i really didint like.
Exposed Vocals: If you were given half a million dollars and a year off, what would you do? How would you spend it? Â
Finessn: id give some to my family , and id put alot of that money into my music career.
Exposed Vocals: Any planned studio upgrades? What are you working with now? Â
Finessn: right now are studios pretty good. There hooked up with warner bros and are engineer is great.
Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?

Finessn: ill tweet my songs, youtube , soundcloud but usually i just hope when fans hear it they repost it and promote it.
Exposed Vocals: If you could perform anywhere and with any artists (Dead or Alive) where and who would it be with? Why?Â
Finessn: i’d perform with biggie. And alot of people would say the same but his storys inspiring hes a real king.

Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?

Finessn: we got a couple thins happening , im gonna be working with dice soho soon and a couple more artist im excited about.

Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing? Â
Finessn: if i wasnt making music i dont really know, I just know I would not be working 9 to 5 jobs.
Exposed Vocals: Do you remember buying your first album? Who was it? What was going through your head? Â
Finessn: yeah man , i remember when i bought ” the massacre by 50 cent ” i was really young and i was with my olderhead and he was just jamming to it  the first thought going threw my head is “one day people are gonna act like this for my albums.”

Exposed Vocals: How do you juggle the rest of your responsibilities while trying to stay ahead in your music life? Â
Finessn: usually ill go to the studio once or twice a week , ill makesure i do everything i need to before i get there.
