Nikki Hahn Sophomore Single – Obvious
Nikki Hahn is a rising star who’s expanding her career from the screen and on to the stage as well with a budding music career. On the heels of her debut single “In My Head,” she has released her sophomore single “Obvious” which is currently available on all streaming platforms. Inspired by 80’s and 90’s rock and pop, Nikki’s style blends the decades together to create her own lane of experimental pop-rock. She is currently working on her debut EP infusing the sounds of her guitar, piano, and bass.
Drawing from life’s highs and lows, “Obvious” was inspired by a missed connection in love. Video production and concept by Nikki herself, the music video follows the story of a girl dropping hints to let a guy know she likes him, dressing up in extravagant ways to grab his attention, with no success. At the end, she gives up trying to let him know she’s interested, ultimately leading her to reject him after he finally comes around. Fans will see elements of 90’s Britney Spears mixed with 80’s Madonna.

Nikki has been surrounded by music her entire life, with her dad being a classical guitarist and having played in rock bands most of his life. Both parents have always played a very wide range of music in the house. She picked up the guitar at five years old with a love for performing starting at six years old in musical theater and evolving to include pop music with Katy Perry, Taylor Swift and Avril Lavigne being strong forces of influence. She bases her songs on real life situations and enjoys the aspect of bringing art to life to express herself. She has aspirations of balancing her acting with her singing career.
In her spare time, she enjoys collecting vintage vinyl and clothing, and practicing karate in which she is a 2nd degree black belt. She is of Mexican and German descent and is currently in the process of learning Spanish, Korean, and French.
