Gibrilville grabs two Akademia Music Awards for new single – Love and Hiphop and scores an Interview with Exposed Vocals
The Akademic Music Awards offer musicians an opportunity to reach an audience far bigger than they ever expected and as big as they deserve. Written right into their ethos is a desire to bring good music to the forefront, and they’ve been doing it for years. Recently music has become an essential part of any given day, with streaming from everywhere and at any time a must. A roster of musicians, some with extensive multi-national followings, further lends weight to the importance of these awards. Now the Akademia Music Awards are an honored tradition, continuing onwards, attracting a great deal of interest, attention, and notice for their uncanny eye for talent.
Lasting power matters as well, and the fact that a large number of their clients have stuck with them for years. A number of them were first discovered in these awards, small upstart bands trying to traverse their way within the world. To create music is hard enough, a band shouldn’t have to worry itself with marketing as well. Akademia Music Awards do a great job showcasing a wide swath of different genres, different geographic regions, and different approaches to their sound. The eclectic mix only means that they have wide ears indeed.
Love & Hip Hop
A tremendous fire rises out of “Love & Hiphop” proving Gibrilville to be a true lyrical master. With storytelling that explores an entire geography his verses feel highly personal and are delivered with pure passion. Every single detail offers a glimpse into a life lived to the fullest with all the joy that entails. Best of all the production proves to be bridge between elements of old school hip hop, right down to the turntable action, with contemporary hip hop, as the glowing chords add additional flair to the performance. The arrangement works wonders with his vocals that seem to gracefully sculpt an entire aural universe. With this unique mixture of Jurassic 5’s alternative flow alongside the jazz licks of the Odd Future Gang, there is a lot to explore.
Right from the beginning the good energy of the track becomes readily apparent. Layer upon layer is filtered into the mix adding to its density. Volume is an absolute must for this is a sound that must be felt as well as heard. Upon the inclusion of his vocals, he truly explores the entirety of the community, showing true affection for the style. He keeps his lyricism nimble, with the crisp diction and fantastic flow seemingly washing over the listener. Grooves go for a laid-back quality for they ensure that the whole piece is anchored in this chilled-out spirit, where seemingly anything is possible.
Gibrilville spits verses out with pure compassion and celebration on the powerful “Love & Hiphop”.
Musicians deserve a little bit of praise for doing the heavy lifting, making days just a little bit brighter. The Akademia Music Awards does just that, shining light on those true gems, a true necessity at this very moment.
Congrats to Gibrilville for this achievement.
