Ivan Kelley It’s Lights On – For Ivan Kelley’s Hot New Single He is certainly an energetic and a memorable performer on stage. This Talented songwriter / musician / performing sensation Ivan Kelley is exploding on the global music marketplace with his debut single called Lights On – released on 30th November 2015. Lights On brings a new level of performance adventure for Ivan. The years of honing his craft through national and international touring – afforded the youthful recording artist the opportunity to emerge with his very best debut offering of songs leading the collection with Lights On. At the age of 11 Ivan was discovered by famous actor and TV talk show host – Ellen Degeneres. Ivan appeared on Ellen demonstrating his musical skills by soulfully delivering the classic “Who’s Loving You” by Michael Jackson to the amazement of the studio audience and to Ellen’s national television viewing audience. Ivan Kelley is a perfectionist when it comes to his musical craft. The coming up super star took some time off after that spectacular debut on Ellen to fine tune his stage and creative musical abilities. He also completed his education as well. Another of his talents was showcased when the talented male vocalist appeared in the motion picture Joyful Noise – starring Dolly Parton and Queen Latifah. The movie was filmed in and around Atlanta. Ivan excited movie audiences around the USA in the scene when he performed the Billy Preston classic That’s The Way God Planned It. Ivan Kelley is an exciting and charismatic performer on stage. Exclusive Interview:

Exposed Vocals: How did you hear about Exposed Vocals? What made you decide to sign up?

Ivan: A representative ( Randy Morano) reached out to me personally on twitter. what made me sign up was the fact that its a great opportunity. 

As much exposure I can get for my single the better.

Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?

Ivan: I’m a 18 year old singer songwriter and producer. I was born in Chattanooga TN and raised in Atlanta Ga. Growing up listening to my father and watching him perform. My mother and siblings singing and playing in the church. Seeing all of that had a very big impact on my life and my decision to become an artist

Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?

Ivan: I was born with it. I love it and it means a lot to me. I use it because i want the world to know who i am.

Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?

Ivan: I think its perfect for the stage that the world is in today everything is pretty much digital now. So it”s a good way to get you music to spread fast. Yes, I have given my music out for free before and as a gift for supporting me as fans.

Exposed Vocals: Do you ever make mistakes during performances? How do you handle that?

Ivan: Hardly ever ,but practice makes perfect. If you mess up you keep going.

Exposed Vocals: Do you tour? Anything interesting happen on tour that you think our readers would enjoy hearing about?

Ivan: Yes, I’ve toured and i love it. Every city its a different energy.

Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process?

Ivan: I usually get my ideas from life experiences and emotions.

Exposed Vocals: Do you have a band website? What online platforms do you use to share your music?

Ivan: I usually use all my social media sites including: Twitter , Facebook , Instagram and Soundcloud .

Exposed Vocals: If you were given half a million dollars and a year off, what would you do? How would you spend it?

Ivan: I would most likely save half and spend time with my family with the other half.

Exposed Vocals: If you could perform anywhere and with any artists (Dead or Alive) where and who would it be with? Why?

Ivan: I’d have to say Michael Jackson and Kanye West in the Staple Center or MGM Grand, They are my idols today.

Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?

Ivan: well right now i’m just focusing on my single “Lights On” and doing shows with more to come

Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?

Ivan: I’d be designing apparel or studying to become a pharmacist.

Exposed Vocals: Do you remember buying your first album? Who was it? What was going through your head?

Ivan: My first album was The Jackson Five. And i was excited to play it in the car.

Exposed Vocals: How do you juggle the rest of your responsibilities while trying to stay ahead in your music life?

Ivan: It was kind of hard when i was in school but then i got homeschooled so it was a lot easier, but now I graduated so I’m doing my music full time.

Exposed Vocals: What should fans look forward to in 2016?

Ivan: Look forward to seeing Ivan Kelley plastered all around the world and every body knowing my name and my music.
