ZMC ‘Searching’ feat. MC Richie Jones [Music Review] “authentic approach with a walk-through verse of his life”
ZMC aka Zachary Man of Christ or Zachary Master of Ceremonies out of Solon, OH gives an honest and very distinctive spin on gospel with the track titled “Searching”, and the instrumental is just as steady as the storytelling lyrics!
ZMC has teamed up with fellow MC Richie Jones to take us on a journey through their ups and downs. ZMC, gives insight on his perspective about conforming to drug use (although it is not the popular choice and some may not agree), while also touching on internal conflicts with aspirations and dreams of stardom.
He then takes us on a personal deep dive when he digs into details about his relationship with his brother and even further going into the details of an accident that caused a delay in the release of his music. In addition to a pure heartfelt verse by ZMC, Richie Jones co-signs ZMC’s authentic approach with a walk-through verse of his life and obstacles as well. The combination of the two artist made for a unique but simple and honest track! This song may grasp some attention across a wider audience based on the content, not only can this be very simple and soothing for some but to others can become insightful when you listen attentively to the lyrics from the two.
Regardless if you are a city bound youth looking for some insight or a suburban avid listener of testimonial lyrics “searching” will satisfy either equally. And who doesn’t admire authenticity when it is present! This track has soul and edge and the jazzy consoling rhythm to go along with the bars is DOPE. ZMC with featured artist Richie Jones overall provided great music with a feeling of genuineness and cleverness. I would recommend giving it a try.
