Ginger Bread Man Cartoon is a American hip hop music animation series. Trap Talk is the first song & episode. In this episode GBM gets high, falls asleep & everything in the Trap House begins to come alive & talk to him. Cartoon features @tedwilliamsgoldenvoice(been on Oprah, Steve Harvey & others)doing narration & Video Vixen/IG Model @ayishadiaz as GBM girlfriend. While in dream state also GBM deceased friend who produced the music to Trap Talk comes over to the trap to work out in the studio. At the end he awakens right after the studio equipment enlightens him on his potential. Expecting to release cartoon in Fall/Winter of 2018. Music is available now:
Music Review for ‘Trap Talk’
Ginger Bread Man goes for a fiery lyrical style with the powerful “Trap Talk”. A physicality emerges over the course of the track, allowing for the bass to have an almost confrontational quality to it. Production values go for a hard-edged approach which works wonders in unison with the Ginger Bread Man’s forceful delivery. Much of the story explores darker atmospheres, the way that ambition can take over, the way that ambition ought to be followed to its most logical conclusion.
Not a moment is wasted as the Ginger Bread Man gets started almost immediately. The arrangement has a cryptic aura to it, one that becomes explored in full. Lyrics explore the mindset of the Ginger Bread Man, as a tense paranoia begins to come into focus. With each additional verse the Ginger Bread Man gets deeper and deeper into the mix. Entire vivid snapshots appear throughout, the interactions that can make up a life. Beats go heavy and go hard, allowing for a fully dominating expression. Words bounce off each other, while the Ginger Bread Man takes a look at himself, letting the entire piece elaborate upon trying to move up, to constantly search for something better and more commanding. In fact, the melody grows ever more insistent lending the Ginger Bread Man’s flow a real poignancy.
“Trap Talk” shows off the storytelling might of the Ginger Bread Man, in creating something whose eerie mysterious presence lingers with the listener long after it is over.
