Demario Gentry known professionally as LIL BAD born in Kansas city Kansas raised in Denver,Co intionally started rapping in 2011 with his break through album titled Turf Talking Lil Bad has over 9 projects out up to date working with some of the industry’s hottest artist LIL BAD has colab records with Nipsey Hussle ,Glasses Malone,J Diggs ,Beeda Weeda & Young Doe just to name a few with his 10th project set to release May 15th this is set to be his biggest release to date
Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?
I was born in Kansas city raised in Denver ,Co I fail in love with music at a young age listening to Snoop Scarface Pac Biggie made me grow a love for the culture like the music they made back then was so good it made me want to rap myself
Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?
LIL BAD is a name I had before the music Lil Bad isn’t a name I just came up with cause I rap my big homies actually gave me that name a long time ago in my hood
Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?
I think its dope it’s so easy to find music these days ,with these social media outlets It makes it easier for artist to be heard & seen . I definitely believe in giving away music free it’s to many artist & to many ways to get music so you gotta give it away free .
Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?
Keep Grinding & you dont need radio to get hot
Exposed Vocals: Do you ever make mistakes during performances? How do you handle that?
I try to not make mistakes during my performances the people pay to see a good show so thays what I’m gone give them
Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process?
Normally just depends doing on what’s going on in my life that day or what’s going on around me or just what mood I’m in long as I got some good smoke & good energy I come up with some dope music

Honestly I can’t say cause I listen to all types of music good music is good music

Lets just say I’d make some very powerful business moves
Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?
We do a lot of online promoting we &still out here on the blacktop with it
Exposed Vocals: If you could perform anywhere and with any artists (Dead or Alive) where and who would it be with? Why?
Man I’d bring Pac back & it would be me Pac & Jay z performing at the Garden in NY sold out event these the most influential people I got to experience in hip hop till date

Man May 15th I’m dropping a project called Truth be told one of the best albums I have I think available on all music outlets I also will be launching my clothing line this summer so we working right now stay tuned
