Young California native and emerging singer/songwriter James Barre has been in the arts since he was five. Starting with theatre, he eventually transitioned to music and bought his first guitar with the change his father had given him over the years. Open mic nights, auditions and networking with other artists let him to current performance coach, Shaun Royer. Inspired by the likes of Jimi Hendrix, Hozier, Shawn Mendes and Ed Sheeran, Barre’s craft has given him the opportunity to tour the country with The Grow Wild Tour, The Boys of Summer Tour, and The Arctic Lights Tour. He also had the honor of playing at the Wizard World Social Con in Portland and the Chicago Bulls Kid Talent Search halftime show. He most recently played for Rock Your Hair at The Avalon in Hollywood.
In addition to music, James also acts and was recently a co-star in the short films Confined 5 and Confined 6.
