Hugo Balbi – Guitar player and composer
Hi there ! I started playing guitar in 1993 and inmediately begun taking lessons for about three years. Since 1994 I was into many bands but after some demos and a few gigs always splitted up. I also start giving some electric guitar lessons on 1999 and in 2004 did it the same on a music school for four years but I keep on doing privately it until now. Also in 2004 I was on my first working band so I could finally live on music. In 2008 I recorded a live album with a band called Aglar which was published on 2009 and in 2011 I was asked for a local band to play with them on a opening gig for Barilari, which is the solo project of Rata Blanca s Singer. In the same year I was also asked by the german keyboardist Franky Demon to record a couple of songs of his first solo albumand it was published on 2013. I also went to a casting done by Timo Tolkki (ex Stratovarius) to be part of a song of his album Credo, I was selected but shortly after he decided not making the album. From 2012 until now Im in a band called Lit Lizzard and with them,I also started playing keyboards. In past year I was invited to be part of a live album for UNICEF with song. I wrote a tune specially for the project and asked to the guys of Lit Lizzard for recording it. After a casting it was included on a vinyl album published on past March,28 by the english label HX Records.
