What is your name and what city do you rep?
My name is Louis Tumblin AKA Chief Louie and I rep Wichita , KS, the 316!
What is unique about you and your music?
I am an unique artist because I began rapping less than a year ago and am climbing up the ladder quick due to my business knowledge. When it comes to rapping, I am versatile and can go in on just about any beat you give me with a different sound than a lot of the new age rappers.
What shaped your music?
My music production background, past experiences growing up in Ohio, and being in the spotlight throughout my basketball career have shaped my music career.
When did you realize you were going to make music professionally?
I knew in college that I wanted to produce music, but it wasn’t until about 10 months ago that I began rapping due to a lack of motivation of my music peers. I knew I had to take matters into my own hands because if you want something done right you have to do it yourself and that saying stands true.
What type of music do you listen to?
I listen to several different genres of music to improve my music talents from every angle including rap, hip hop, R&B, rock, country, and classics.
Who, to you, is the most undervalued music artist?
I believe that K Camp is the most undervalued music artist because it seems to me that he isn’t rated with the top new artist like I think he should be.
Who would you collab with out of any Artist or Producer?
I would be honored to collab with Tory Lanez because listening to his music starting out is what inspired me to make an entrance into the rap game.
What ignites your writing & creative juices?
It is my outlet to express myself with things that I am passionate about in life like Mary Jane and my girl Mikalea’s bomb ass booty.
What do you do when you don’t do music (creative or otherwise) and that you are passionate about?
I am passionate about having a good time and living life to the fullest whether it be spending time with my girl, taking trips to places I haven’t been, listening to music for motivation, or living up to my name Chief Louie smoking on that Mary Jane.

Success to me is when people put forth full effort in any endeavor they pursue and are rewarded for their efforts whether it be financial gain or self satisfaction.
What do you wish you were told when you first started making music that you think would help an artist starting out?
I would tell them to believe in themselves and persevere through any defeats along the way. When people tell you no or that you can not do something you have to come back 100 times stronger and find an alternate route to your end goal. DO NOT TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER!
