Los Angeles CA- August 15th 2017 Deverio Dante Victor Love, known by his stage name D. Love the Rapper, is an American hip-hop artist and entrepreneur. Born September 3, 1987 in Los Angeles, CA, he was raised in the South-Central area, just minutes away from the historic LA riots. In his early teens, he found a passion for writing poetry. With musical influences Sade, Tupac, Jay-Z, T.I. and Nipsey Hussle, his love for rap music continued to manifest.
In 2010, he bought a pro tool program and started recording in his living room. He began making videos and uploading his music to his YouTube channel and other social media platforms. In 2014, D. Love the Rapper digitally released the My Tales from the Hood mixtape series, including My Tales from the Hood, Volume 1 thus releasing the year later 2015 My Tales from the Hood, Volume 2.
In Spring of 2016, his EP Dreams and Grief was digitally released. The pain endured by him and his family, after losing his older brother to gun violence, inspired this EP. He continues to pour his energy and devotion through his life experiences into his music. With a style unparalleled to other artists, D. Love the Rapper is an up and coming musical trailblazer, determined to innovate and uplift people through his art.
Earlier this year D Love the Rapper started his own company Rap Hustle & Muscle”
Now D Love the Rapper has embarked on another musical journey with two new powerful dynamic songs under his belt. Introducing “On My Way” a smooth reflection on the hustle and strength of daily life in the rap game.

D love The Rapper recently traveled to the motherland of Africa. from that experience, his artistic expression needed to be expressed thus recorded a song in the Motherland for all ages, to uplift the women and the beauty that lies behind the essence of the female to keep their light shining entitled “Nobody”.

Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?
I grew up in south central LA. I always had a passion for music so late in2010 i bought pro tools program start recording myself and went from there.
Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?
I would say learn all you can and stay focus.
Exposed Vocals: Do you ever make mistakes during performances? How do you handle that?
Ive made mistakes of course it’s apart of learning. I know how to cover it up.
Exposed Vocals: Do you tour? Anything interesting happen on tour that you think our readers would enjoy hearing about?
I haven’t toured yet .
Exposed Vocals: Any planned studio upgrades? What are you working with now?
The studio i work out of is pretty updated and is always doing small upgrades
Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?
I’m always searching for new ways to promote my music, one avenue that has worked for me would be World star Hiphop
Exposed Vocals: If you could perform anywhere and with any artists (Dead or Alive) where and who would it be with? Why?
Tupac in Africa because he’s one of my all time favorites and africa is home
Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?
I’m working on my ep . I’m going drop 2 singles from the project next month sometime
