Watch Your Words by Absoloot
Absoloot is a talented artist with the knowledge of a seasoned counselor, the intuition of a psychology professor and the talent of an expertly seasoned lyricist. Get ready for another ground breaking production from the highly anticipated album entitled Banksters.
The video ‘Watch Your Words’, Produced by SE Entertainment, provides a visually stunning interpretation of Absolut’s lyrical brilliance.’ Watch your words’ is a song about the words people use and their insensitivity “…better be careful who you serve,” “they watching so watch your words…” a rapper that focuses his rhymes on being consistent is vital in getting your story across.
Absoloot is one artist that has a particular method to his rap. He has the rare skill of keeping on topic in his tracks, unlike other rappers who have one topic and several storylines heading to confusion and not really getting to the point of their story. Considered ‘one of the ‘illest lyricist’, and a perfect example of his skill is in his latest release called ‘Watch Your Words’. He really put his heart into this one.
The track gives example of the different types of conversation that people have that could get them in trouble if they’re not selective with the words that they use. From business executives to your own household; there is a message that needs to be heard within the lyrical content of this track which reads more like a psycology lesson than a motto. A meaningful lesson on conduct and behavior, one that everyone should consider.
The track has a cool 9O’s vibe to it. The graphics on the video are exceptionally spectacular and original and are just as consistent as the lyrical content. If you serving your words just be careful who you serve you never know who you’re speaking too so watch what you say. There is a piano cover throughout the entire track the percussions are study just as the lyrical flow. Although the track is a couple of years old, it has the makings of what is needed to be heard today.
Overall, the track is extremely fascinating and consistent. The wordplay is on point, It has spectacular quality and a truly meaningful message. The performance on the video is magnificent and the content is appropriate, it fits with the song. Watch out for more good music from Absoloot. He is one hell of a rapper, producer and an artist with motivation and a philosophy that is admirable.

Exclusive Interview:
Exposed Vocals: How did you hear about Exposed Vocals? What made you decide to sign up?
Absoloot: I heard about Exposed Vocals on Twitter. I’m always on there and ended up coming across their profile and felt like their site would be awesome for exposure.
Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?
Absoloot: I grow up in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. I actually started writing music in the 10th grade, but didn’t decide to pursue music as a career until I felt like I was good enough to perform live.
Exposed Vocals: What was your inspiration behind your name?
Absoloot: I find inspiration from those around me. I feel like music should be used as a tool to connect people of all walks of life and that’s what I try to do with my music.
Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?
Absoloot: I really like file sharing and what the internet in general has done for the music industry. Artist have more opportunities now than ever before thanks to file sharing. Sometimes I still give away music just to gauge how my audience feels about different styles I might try out.
Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?
Absoloot: Yes most definitely. I find that a lot of artist don’t spend a lot of timing researching companies and radio stations online. The music industry has changed drastically and because of this a lot of the power is now in the hands of the artist. I would suggest trying to find internet based radio stations and magazines to submit your music to so that you can gain the exposure of potential fans all over the world.
Exposed Vocals: Do you ever make mistakes during performances? How do you handle that?
Absoloot: Not so much now as I did in the beginning. I try and rehearse as much as possible to try and prevent any mistakes. The last time I did make a mistake though I pretty much continue the show as normal.(Laughs)
Exposed Vocals: Do you tour? Anything interesting happen on tour that you think our readers would enjoy hearing about?
Absoloot: Right now I’m gearing up for the re launch of the album “Bankster”. After the release I’m sure we’ll begin touring.
Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process?
Absoloot: Inspiration can pretty much strike at any moment. If I’m out and about I’ll usually just start writing lyrics in my phone or whatever I can find that’s close.
Exposed Vocals: Do you have a band website? What online platforms do you use to share your music?
Absoloot: Right now we’re in the process of updating our main website which is beabsoloot.com. We have our music everywhere from reverbnation/Absoloot to soundcloud.com/Absoloot. We’re also on iTunes, Google Play, Spotify and pretty much anywhere you can purchase music online.
Exposed Vocals: What are some really embarrassing songs that we might find on your mp3 player?
Absoloot: Honestly nothing that I can think of. I avoid bad music like the plague. (Laughs)
Exposed Vocals: If you were given half a million dollars and a year off, what would you do? How would you spend it?
Absoloot: I would definitely spend the money on creating more music and promotion. I’ve been doing music so long it would be hard to do anything else at this point.
Exposed Vocals: Any planned studio upgrades? What are you working with now?
Absoloot: I do a few things at home, but I do all of my main recording out of AAMG Studios. It’s one of the studios that make it really easy to relax and just be productive.
Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?
Absoloot: Social media has been the most beneficial for me thus far. It’s an easy way for fans to stay in contact with me and it’s a great way for me to contact radio stations and licensing opportunities.
Exposed Vocals: If you could perform anywhere and with any artists (Dead or Alive) where and who would it be with? Why?
Absoloot: I would have to say Stevie Wonder and it really wouldn’t matter where we perform. I’m sure I would be in shock and awe the whole time. (Laughs)
Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?
Absoloot: We have a lot of big things planned for this year. I just signed deal with Moon Landing Media so they will be handling all of the visual production going forward. We’re putting together the re-release of the album “Banksters” and will be teaming up with Ride To Awareness (ridetoawareness.com) to bring some much needed attention to mental illness. I’ll also be managing one of the hottest artist in gospel hip-hop Josiah.
Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?
Absoloot: I have no idea. I can’t really picture myself doing anything else.
Exposed Vocals: Do you remember buying your first album? Who was it? What was going through your head?
Absoloot: Yes I do. The first cd I ever bought was “Lords of the underground”. I remember thinking I can’t wait to learn the words to the song “Chief Rocka”. (Laughs)
Exposed Vocals: How do you juggle the rest of your responsibilities while trying to stay ahead in your music life?
Absoloot: I actually work on the music with my family and this is something I do full time so things aren’t too difficult for me.
Exposed Vocals: What should fans look forward to in 2015?
Absoloot: I’ll be releasing a lot more music this year. Not only will we be re-releasing the album “Banksters”, but we also have a new album coming out towards the end of the year.
