Exposed Vocals: How did you hear about Exposed Vocals? What made you decide to sign up?
Teon: Twitter, the reason I decided to sign up with Exposed vocals is the fact that I want to do something more with my talent.
Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?
Teon: I was born in the Newport news, Virginia area. what made me decide on becoming an artist is if i’m good at something or great at it I think I should try to see if I can do something with a cause.
Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?
Teon: I came up with this name because it’s an original name.
Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?
Teon: I think online music sharing in good, because I love to share to those who might not be able to buy it.
Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?
Teon: what I would tell them is to put your music on music social sites and reach out to the big name companies to so you can have more options and feedback.
Exposed Vocals: Do you ever make mistakes during performances? How do you handle that?
Teon: yes I do sometimes , what I do to handle that is to try to focus on the song I’m working on.
Exposed Vocals: Do you tour? Anything interesting happen on tour that you think our readers would enjoy hearing about?
Teon: no I have not been on tour yet
Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process?
Teon: from anything. My songwriting process is feel the instrumental and song in my head then I write the song.
Exposed Vocals: Do you have a band website? What online platforms do you use to share your music?
Teon: yes I have a band website it’s reverbnation, Twitter,soundcloud, facebook
Exposed Vocals: What are some really embarrassing songs that we might find on your mp3 player?
Teon: some of my song called luv,somebody to luv, drop low, I run this and going up.
Exposed Vocals: If you were given half a million dollars and a year off, what would you do? How would you spend it?
Teon: I would spend it on investment on something that would help me letter in life.
Exposed Vocals: Any planned studio upgrades? What are you working with now?
Teon: I haven’t planned any studio upgrades, what I’m working with now is laptop.
Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?
Teon: though reverbnation,any anything works as long it’s get ‘s out there right.
Exposed Vocals: If you could perform anywhere and with any artists (Dead or Alive) where and who would it be with? Why?
Teon: in the D.C. area and who I would perform with is Chris Brown because I think we make simler types of songs.
Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?
Teon: yes a lot
Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?
Teon: selling art
Exposed Vocals: Do you remember buying your first album? Who was it? What was going through your head?
Teon: my first album I bout was MJ Thriller album, what was going through my head was I want to make music like that some day.
Exposed Vocals: How do you juggle the rest of your responsibilities while trying to stay ahead in your music life?
Teon: It never takes that much time for me to make an album in a day because I always have full songs stored in my head so I also was have time for my responsibilities
Exposed Vocals: What should fans look forward to in 2015?
Teon: fans should look forward in 2015 for an hard working artist and something new.
