Milk N Cooks are twin brothers Paul and James McElwain born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago. They began DJ-ing and producing music during their time at the University of Illinois after an epic experience at the inaugural Rothbury music festival (now Electric Forest). They left school in 2011 and moved their operation to Chicago where they saw massive growth and development of their brand, performance and production. Since then they’ve toured the country multiple times and have had their music supported by some of the biggest DJs, Producers and Radio Stations all over the world. Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
Paul and James are the producer / DJs that aren’t afraid to take risks. While during their performance they maintain a high-energy dance music vibe, incorporating classic songs others may be afraid to touch has become their forte. They constantly seek to elevate their performance and production with the use of live instruments and thoughtful arrangements, separating themselves from the mundanity that has become the, “EDM DJ”. They’ve built a formidable team in Chicago and are poised to make moves. Keep and ear out for Milk N Cooks.

Milk N Cooks has been hard at work for the past year, taking time to develop their sound and debut EP, Decisions. While the compilation is entirely complete and available to download oniTunes and stream on Spotify, each song on the EP will be uploaded to Soundcloud one at a time for a limited time download. The first song in the series of multiple-week releases is “Thunder” feat. Lyon Hart, a fun song that they collaborated on with TWINNS. The three other songs on the EP show off a different side of the duo that loves raging as much as chilling. Congratulations to the Milk N Cooks men as well as Kitchin Records for their stellar debut EP. Check in with their Soundcloud page every week for a new downloadable track off of Decisions.
Since 2008, I've been passionately dedicated to fostering unsigned artists through ExposedVocals.com. Over nearly 15 years, my mission has evolved from creating a platform to immersing myself in the world of independent musicians. Beyond showcasing music videos, I delve into undiscovered talent with music reviews, aiming not just to display but to understand, appreciate, and amplify their voices. Additionally, I've had the privilege of interviewing music industry legends, bringing their insights to unsigned artists globally. My overarching goal is to bridge gaps, provide invaluable knowledge, and empower the next generation of musical trailblazers.
