Nevr Deadr Society – Degraded Commodities

I have something against bands that spell
words on purpose, but I can’t remember
exactly what it is. Oh yeah, I’ve got it
now, it’s stupid, and does nothing but
reinforce the stereotypes about heavy music
being moronic and degrades an otherwise
valid genre. I also have a hard time buying
into it on an expressive level. It’s like
saying, “Here’s something really important
to me, I spelled words to be different.” If
something is really important to you, and
you’re not just a lame ass local band
looking for underground acceptance based on
projected image, then perhaps it doesn’t
matter how you spell the word “Hypnotic.”
Maybe it’s just me.
