Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?
I was born in Clearwater, Florida and moved to Concord, NC at the age of 5. I was a part of the youth Oratorio singers by the young age of 10 and I was performing in churches, nursing homes and on the road- one of the places I performed was Gatlinburg, TN. I knew from around the age of 5 I was going to be a pop performer.
Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?
Anyone who is looking to become a professional artist needs to learn one thing: WHO THEY ARE. You will be faced with the nay-sayers and the non- believers but as long as you are comfortable and confident in who you are , the rumors and the negative comments wont matter- and you will learn to only hear the positive and be able to make a difference in the world because of it.
Exposed Vocals: Do you ever make mistakes during performances? How do you handle that?
Any human makes mistakes. And ALL PERFORMERS/ARTISTS ARE HUMAN!!! Imagine that , we are human. Even though the magazines make us seem like perfection, we make mistakes EVERY SINGLE DAY!! When you make a mistake in a performance, keep going...because guess what- 98 % of the audience has NO idea that you made a mistake. Maybe that was part of the show as far as they are concerned?!
Exposed Vocals: Do you tour? Anything interesting happen on tour that you think our readers would enjoy hearing about?
I travel locally but I do not tour ...yet. We are reaching that point and very fast. My pop album drops this year and so far I am getting huge results. I am known as the Pop Diva. Glitter meets dirty martini's meet pop music meets crazy! Socialite meets the paparazzi. Its BOUND to be fun! Can't wait ! #famousbyassociationtour
Exposed Vocals: Any planned studio upgrades? What are you working with now?
I currently record in recording studios- so I use their equipment. One of my favorite requests- colored lights that fuse to the beat of my song while I am recording. Makes my energy pop! Makes me feel alive.
Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?
I promote my music via social media. FB, Twitter, Google + , etc. I also have my own iHeartRadio station as well as Spotify station and Youtube channel. I balance being a CEO of Glitterazzi Entertainment, pop singer, actress and former model. SO I have to promote when I have pockets of time. PROMOTION IS EVERYTHING!!!!
Exposed Vocals: If you could perform anywhere and with any artists (Dead or Alive) where and who would it be with? Why?
Britney Spears. I grew up on Britney and she is the one who inspired me to become a pop artist. Her energy is contagious and our personalities are very similar. I feel it would make for a very good show.
Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?
Right now I just finished recording my latest single , Tennis Wife. This single will NOT be on my album, Famous By Association. This song is about a girl who basically is telling a guy that she can be his fantasy girl, but he can't understand that she is who he wants. My music video for my last single, Know The Truth drops this summer!
Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?
Everything LOL! I would still be the CEO of my company, still be an actress, event coordinator, model, spokesmodel. I may actually have time to watch a real movie or two!
Exposed Vocals: What should fans look forward to in the next year or so?
I am about to blow up internationally. I expect to be a household name within the next 2-5 years. Within the next year, I plan to have about 4-5 independent movies out, Famous By Association released and working on my next album. My first movie with being a director will have made its debut and I will start working on my autobiography. Lots to do....
Exposed Vocals: Any Shout-outs?

To my Glitches ( Team Jillianne ) thank you for putting up with me every single day. I know Im not always easy to work for. To my producers for FBA, thank you for believing in my vision. To anyone who has to deal with my crazy creative brain on a daily basis....thank you for never giving up. I love you!
