Lariss’ sultry music video for “Dale Papi” became an overnight viral sensation on YouTube around the world. Directed by Khaled Mokhtar, best known for his work with international hit artists including Alexandra Stan (“Cherry Pop”), Inna (“Be My Lover”), and Antonia (“Marabou”), the video introduced the world to Lariss and has generated more than fifty-five million views on YouTube to date. For the US debut of her single, Lariss teamed up with iconic US Hip-Hop artist K7, best known for his Hit single “Come Baby Come” which reached #18 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #3 on the UK Singles Chart, to add a fresh new touch on her hot Latin single.
During the years 2009-2013, LARISS studied at the National Music University in Bucharest, at the jazz and pop music section.
In 2010 followed another big leap for her when she participated at final of the International Eurovision Song Contest, in Oslo, Norway, collaborating with Paula Seling and Ovi Cernauteanu for backing vocals.
LARISS sang in many clubs in Bucharest, having residence in club Freddo where she had the job of MC and vocal improvizations, using Jazz, Pop, Soul, Reggae and RnB backed up by the music of Soulful House.She collaborated with the band, “The Colours” during the song contest “The X-Factor,” again for use of her backing vocals, and she also collaborated with Fly Djs, having concerts at numerous events all over the country.
Lariss loved music when she was a little child. Her first official contact with music started at the age of seven when she began taking violin lessons at the National Art College “Octav Bancila” in the city of Iasi, Romania. In fifth grade, she began studying the piano, and was also in a vocal chorus group which allowed her to participate in different competitions, school olympics, and concerts in Europe, in countries such as Italy, Holland, Belgium and Austria. Lariss also performed byzantine and chorus music for the Romanian Church.

At the age of 15 she began to learn more and more about classical music theory, the field of music that she participated in at competitions where she was frequently awarded. Lariss continued to play the violin, (but not in the classical realm), with authentic folklore. She was part of the traditional orchestra, “Hora” in collaboration with Ansamblul Rapsodia, who she participated with at competitions and folk festivals all around the country and in Italy as well. After this, she transferred to Classical Canto to study Pop & Jazz, finishing her highschool with a diploma in Classical Canto.
In 2013, LARISS began her collaboration with Midiots Production (Shift and David Ciente), where she started a solo project and shortly launched her first single,”Dale Papi”, a song written all together with David Ciente and Shift, 2 of Top 5 producers in Romania. The music video of Dale Papi is directed by Khaled Mokhtar, famous for his collaborations with international performers such as Alexandra Stan (for “Cherry Pop”), Inna ( “Be my lover”), Antonia (“Marabou”) and so on.
