Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?
I GREW UP IN KENDAL MANCHESTER. Music was always apart of my family. My father had a sound system which kind of got me more involved in music. I always get a chance at the microphone to sing now and then. I was born to be an artist I would say. Its just came natural.
Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?
First as an artist giving up should not be in your vocabulary. Always ensure that you are doing your best when you are preparing, writing and recording your song as presentation is very important. Always stay positive and open for criticism. Always try to be the best you.
Exposed Vocals: Do you ever make mistakes during performances? How do you handle that?
Yes...whenever I make a mistake or blunder in a performance I simply pick up and continue. Try to maintain composure. After the show I will go back to the drawing board and assess my performance so as not to make the same mistakes twice.
Exposed Vocals: Do you tour? Anything interesting happen on tour that you think our readers would enjoy hearing about?
I have never toured before. I do a lot of local shows. The most interesting moment was performing at the prime ministers residence..
Exposed Vocals: Any planned studio upgrades? What are you working with now?
I am currently working on my Ep titled "Genesis" to be released early next year. Mixture of dancehall and reggae
Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?
I research a lot on how to promote my music. My main outlets are the local papers, radio and social media. I think social media works best as I can tailor my promotion to where I want it to reach.
Exposed Vocals: If you could perform anywhere and with any artists (Dead or Alive) where and who would it be with? Why?
Probably Europe with Bob Marley. He is a great performer and an icon that I looked up to.
Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?
I mentioned my Ep the genesis to be released early 2017. I am also working on a lot of new singles to be released as well. Also a few international collaborations.
Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?
Being an accountant or running my own business. But music is my life so I will always do it.
Exposed Vocals: What should fans look forward to in the next year or so?
Just more new projects. Crazy ideas and experiments.
Exposed Vocals: Any Shout-outs?
JUST WANA BIG UP TO ALL REGGAE AND DANCEHALL FANS WORLDWIDE. Big up to all the persons supporting Ditranquil music.
