Hot new interview with YAZAELLE!
Born May 23, 1986 in France, I began piano at 6 years old.
I followed a musical training in a school for 10 years and then I passed an entrance examination for the National School of music where I took the course for five years.
I started to compose at 17 years old, which allowed me to reach semi-final at my 1st “Les croches d’or” in Castres (France) in the songwriter category.
My principal inspiration is Fréderic Chopin..
Later, I joined a Russian Band where I play the rhythm box and sang in Polish-French, a Slavic world that perfectly matches my origins!
I stopped music a couple off years then I decided to get back in the musical bath by registering at the “Plaisir de chanter” music competition in the category singer/songwriter in Colomiers.
It was a challenge for me to see if i’ll continue music or definitly stop. I get my answer by winning the audience award. Now, I have few Projects like record 5 songs in studio (in french, in english and polish/french) and record a video clip.
Exposed Vocals: How did you hear about Exposed Vocals? What made you decide to sign up?
YAZAELLE : I heard about Exposed Vocal by Twitter. I decided to sign up because there are a lot of differents music from everywhere and i would like to discover you my french music.
Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?
YAZAELLE : I grew up in France and i decided to become officialy an artist 4 month ago when i won a music competition in the singer/songwriter category
Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?
YAZAELLE : My astrological sign is Gemini and my artist’s name left the astrology beacause originally the Guardian Angel of Gemini is YEZALEL and finally I modified or for YAZAELLE. What means « I behind her » (the character) in Polish-French
Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?
YAZAELLE : I think that the online music sharing is a good opportunity for promote our songs or bands and discover to everyone your music universe.
Exposed Vocals: Do you ever make mistakes during performances? How do you handle that?
YAZAELLE : You know, during the performances, everybody is always put under stress (espacially when it’s about competitions) so , mistakes can then arrive but I still learnt that you should never stop and continuing although it arrives by improvising !
Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process?
YAZAELLE : My inspiration comes at the come moment either from a situation real-life experience or seen situation. I make up(compose) at first the melody in the piano and then I write the words

Exposed Vocals: If you were given half a million dollars and a year off, what would you do? How would you spend it?
YAZAELLE : Any access(manner) I shall help certain members of my family with this money(silver), and I shall also give for one association to help the most deprived people and of course I shall wish to record a whole album with a clip and to market it !
Exposed Vocals: Any planned studio upgrades? What are you working with now?
YAZAELLE : I shall have an interview on the radio in France to present my song and to record few songs in french, in english and in polish/french and make un video clip.
Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?
YAZAELLE : The best way means for me is the word of mouth ! and the radio
Exposed Vocals: If you could perform anywhere and with any artists (Dead or Alive) where and who would it be with? Why?
YAZAELLE : Without hesitating would be with Elvis Presley, king of the rock ‘n’ roll !
Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?
YAZAELLE : Listen me and you discover a lot of surprises !

YAZAELLE : I shall draw, I like painting, the art, the drawing

YAZAELLE : I remeber it was album of Tarkan !
Exposed Vocals: How do you juggle the rest of your responsibilities while trying to stay ahead in your music life?
YAZAELLE : I get organized but espacially what holds me and motivates me all day long, it’s music, return to play the piano. It’s necessary to have projects, for my part for which takes forward me
