Exposed Vocals just caught an interview with R&B Artist, Richard Alexander.
Richard Alexander(25) A United States Marine veteran From Elmont NY:
“Music Is How I Tell My Story”
“When it comes to songwriting and making music I always felt, it was always best to come from the heart and say what’s real! Music saved my life and has gotten me through some tough situations. I just want to share that experience and inspire my listeners, Drake said it best “told my story and made his story.” Music has always been a part of my life. Influenced and inspired by many artists such as (Boyz II Men, New Edition, Brian Mc. Knight Bruno Mars, & Drake) I was able to shape and create the sound I call Richard Alexander today.”
Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?
Richard: I grew up on long island! I was always surrounded by music whether it was, at home church, or live events. I loved the way music made feel listening to it and watching how much fun people had playing. So I wanted to create my sound and share that too.
