As a commercial banker, Gary has precious little time to devote to his favorite pass time of writing music. However, when time allows, pen goes to paper, and pick goes to guitar. His desire is to write songs that touch peoples heart.

Exposed Vocals: So, lets get right into it. What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?

Gary: I am concerned with the ability for free music sharing will denigrate the artist’s work. My songs are available for streaming at Reverbation

Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?

Gary: No advice, I am still a start-up. LOL

Exposed Vocals: Do you ever make mistakes during performances? How do you handle that?

Gary: I hardly do any performances; I am more of a song writer. I do some recording but that is about it.

Exposed Vocals: Do you tour? Anything interesting happen on tour that you think our readers would enjoy hearing about?

Gary: No touring

Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process?

Gary: My inspirations usually come from real life. A comment someone makes or an experience I have had.

Exposed Vocals: Do you have a band website? What online platforms do you use to share your music?

Gary: Reverbnation

Exposed Vocals: What are some really embarrassing songs that we might find on your mp3 player?

Gary: Something by Mac Davis. I love him but most people say..who?

Exposed Vocals: If you were given half a million dollars and a year off, what would you do? How would you spend it?

Gary: I would but my own recording studio, and make sure all my kids were financially set.

Exposed Vocals: Any planned studio upgrades? What are you working with now?

Gary: No

Gary: I am just getting into that now, so no advice

Gary: Just a lot of writing. New genres.

Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?

Gary: Watching TV and wishing I were making music.

Exposed Vocals: Do you remember buying your first album? Who was it? What was going through your head?

Gary: It was Roger Miller. I love the fun silly songs.

Exposed Vocals: How do you juggle the rest of your responsibilities while trying to stay ahead in your music life?

Gary: I have a wonderful wife, that takes care of me.

Gary: Lots of new songs in new genre’s.
