Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?
I grew up in New York. A lot of my background is in Brooklyn and the Bronx until I was 16 then i moved to the 845 Hudson Valley. I was a visual artist until 15 working heavily on anime, manga and some poetry until I was introduced to recording in school when I lived in the Bronx. It was history from then.
Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?
build your fan base make a website and focus on your mailing list after that you can put on shows and actually have people come out to support you.
Exposed Vocals: Do you ever make mistakes during performances? How do you handle that?
Yes, I make mistakes but no one ever knows because I keep the same intensity and don't stop. They at the show for a good time so I intend to give them one mistakes or not lol.
Exposed Vocals: Do you tour? Anything interesting happen on tour that you think our readers would enjoy hearing about?
I haven't had the opportunity to tour yet at this moment, but when I do i'll be sure to come back to exposed vocals and drop a couple lines about the experience.
Exposed Vocals: Any planned studio upgrades? What are you working with now?
Yes most definitely I feel like change is the only constant and the goal is to keep upgrading. I'm working in and out of different studios now so I don't have any set gear except my laptop, FL Studios, Pro Tools.
Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?
I try to aim for blogs with my specific genre in mind to maximize on the most organic user interaction. I also like Women to listen to my music and spread it because they are the first really to find and appreciate new waves of music in my opinion other than blogs.
Exposed Vocals: If you could perform anywhere and with any artists (Dead or Alive) where and who would it be with? Why?
I would perform in Madison Square garden with Micheal Jackson that would be an amazing performance and show. It would have great energy and have two dope performers who love to make sure their fans have a great time.
Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?
Well as you know I already have The Book of Dreams available right now. Next I want to release a Ep. in the Spring or early Summer of 17 called the X Project. Just to give the fans some music content to show them some ideas and sounds I've been working with for the next album. Releasing some videos for both of those projects and interviews. lastly just wrapping up the year nicely with the second album the Book of Nightmares.
Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?
If I wasn't making music id honestly still be making music its that deep lol, but if i had to pick it would still be a career in the music industry. Maybe as a manager or something I love this craft and want to support it and be apart of it whether it would be on the artist side or otherwise.
Exposed Vocals: What should fans look forward to in the next year or so?
Look forward to seeing a lot more of my music, face, my personality just look out for me I believe it will be a very prominent year.
