Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?
Cthareal: I grew up in Celje, Slovenia where I still live and create.I was introduced to music since I was a baby by My father who was also a musician.
Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?
Cthareal: I have two names in Rap ( C-dogg: Beacuse I’m from Celje and I love dogs, I have Am-staffs) ( CThaReal: means C is real and do You C the real)My inspiration is life.
Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?
Cthareal: I fully support online sharing, It’s a great opportunity for unkown artists to show Their music worldwide. My last two albums were free online and also the next one will be also.Beacuse music makes the world go ’round.
Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?
Cthareal: Always love what You’re doing and be Yourself no matter what others tell You.Always protect Your music and ALWAYS keep You masters!!!!
Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process?
Cthareal: My inspiration is life, I had a pretty hard life full of ups and downs, but that’s life.I always make a beat, I ussually Rap freestyle and record material for 2-3 albums and then make the best selection to create one great product.
Exposed Vocals: Do you have a band website? What online platforms do you use to share your music?
Cthareal: Yes, My number one website is Reverb nation. Then Youtube for videos and Twitter and Copromote for sharing and promoting My material.
Exposed Vocals: If you were given half a million dollars and a year off, what would you do? How would you spend it?
Cthareal: That’s a really good question.I would probably invest in My studio and then create even more music.
Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?
Cthareal: The best ways are Twitter and CoPromote.It works best for Me. Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?
Cthareal: I’m finalising My new album UliÄne kronike ( Street chronicles) that will be releasing on My 36th birthday that is on 6.12.2016.The album will also be free on Reverbnation.
Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?
Cthareal: That’s hard beacuse music is My life, but I would probably be a dog breeder, that’s My other passion besides Martial arts.
Exposed Vocals: How do you juggle the rest of your responsibilities while trying to stay ahead in your music life?
Cthareal: I always make things work so that nothing and nobody is left behind.Family is first always.But They understand that music is My air plus It pays the bills, I’m talking about My HTGC productions.Beat production is what pays for life and My Rap music also beacuse here in Slovenia You can’t make money with Rap. Exposed Vocals: What should fans look forward to in 2016?
Cthareal: As always something new and first of all, Real lyrics and quality music.Besides My Rap album I’ll be releasing a instrumental album as HTGC and It will be something You’ve never heard before.A completelly new style of music so stay tuned for news.
