Big Dave & The 45s Release Some Hot Links And Cool Vibes Inspired By Yesteryear’s Sounds

Who are Big Dave And The 45’s? Actually, they are “The Hot Links”, a band that originally formed in 1971 on the campus of Oklahoma State University. Big Dave, who nearly always had a guitar, also a member of the swim team, was the instigator that formed the band with other members of the team. With their first paying gig at Stillwater H.S. Prom in 1972, The Hot Links would play several more shows in local clubs until the band ended their run on New Year’s Eve 1978.

Fast Forward to 2018 as the band reunites to release this special collection of original songs that will take you back to a time when music was recorded on vinyl, instruments were minimal and vocals uniquely harmonized.
